Grand Theft Auto v5

Posted: August 5, 2013 in Uncategorized

Los Santos: a sprawling sun-soaked metropolis full of self-help gurus, starlets and fading celebrities, once the envy of the Western world, now struggling to stay afloat in an era of economic uncertainty and cheap reality TV.

Amidst the turmoil, three very different criminals plot their own chances of survival and success: Franklin, a street hustler looking for real opportunities and serious money; Michael, a professional ex-con whose retirement is a lot less rosy than he hoped it would be; and Trevor, a violent maniac driven by the chance of a cheap high and the next big score. Running out of options, the crew risks everything in a series of daring and dangerous heists that could set them up for life.

The biggest, most dynamic and most diverse open world ever created, Grand Theft Auto V blends storytelling and gameplay in new ways as players repeatedly jump in and out of the lives of the game’s three lead characters, playing all sides of the game’s interwoven story.

All the classic hallmarks of the groundbreaking series return, including incredible attention to detail and Grand Theft Auto’s darkly humorous take on modern culture, alongside a brand new and ambitious approach to open world multiplayer.

Developed by series creators Rockstar North, Grand Theft Auto V will be available worldwide on September 17th for Xbox 360® and PlayStation®3.

CALL of DUTY (Black ops II)

COD black ops II

Here are my favorite maps on Black Ops 2. I really like small maps with minimal camping places.

Nuketown 2025

Who doesn’t love Nuketown? It is a small map which is easy to navigate. I like how colorful and fun the map is. I always do best on Nuketown and enjoy playing any gametype on it.Nuketown

Even though carrier is sort of big, I still enjoy playing on it. It is a great map to use a shotgun or sniper rifle. I love playing capture the flag and kill confirmed on this map.Carrier

Highjacked is small and fun to explore. I like how close quarters the map is. I really like capture the flag on this map and Hardpoint. I always have fun playing on Highjacked.Black Ops 2 Multiplayer Map Hijacked

Standoff Isn’t a really small map, but it is still easy to navigate. This map has something for everyone. There are plenty of sniping positions and close quarters areas. The map is also really nice to look at.Standoff

Assassin’s CREED III

Assassin's Creed III

The Caribbean Sea is beautifully rendered.

The Hidden Secrets pack for Assassin’s creed III (PC version)
After a few hours of entering Ubisoft codes and trying to get this DLC to work, I finally found a fix on the Steam forums with users having the same issue. Then I had a problem with the missions not appearing on the map until I went back and replayed a specific sequence. Yet another example of DRM hurting legitimate consumers and doing nothing to stop piracy. (To be fair, the Uplay interface isn’t as bad as it used to be.) Speaking of piracy, The missions in this DLC pack are mostly naval-based missions which are in my humble opinion one of the strongest parts of the game. They could have just called it “Sailor’s creed” and I’d have been cool with it.

The Lost Mayan Ruins
The first mission takes you to an island called Cerros with an ancient Mayan temple for you to “explore”, or more like “linearly run through”. The level is well designed and melt-your-brain gorgeous, a breath of fresh air from the bland architecture of colonial Boston. However it’s essentially just a jumping puzzle during which Connor mutters things to himself. It’s also extremely short. When it was over I was thinking “seriously, that’s it?” At least add a naval battle. Or they could have had Connor escape the collapsing ruins to flesh it out a tiny bit. The sword you receive as a reward for completing the mission is pretty damn cool looking, so I guess all is forgiven.

A Dangerous secret
This consists of a single naval mission during which you must destroy the HMS Dartmoor. As I said earler, I have a fondness for the naval battles in Assassin’s creed III. There is just something about the crashing of the waves, the sound of cannon fire and the cheers of your crew when you down an enemy vessel. That awesome feeling you get when you time a volley just right. It’s visceral and honestly exhilarating at times. The reward for completing this mission is a unique flintlock musket and a new paint job for your ship.

The Ghost of War
More of the same, really. A two part naval mission revolving around some mystery cargo being held by the HMS Windermere. You sink a couple ships, secure the cargo, stop the Templar plot, and you get some pretty outfits for Connor to wear. It also adds some new skins to the multiplayer aspect of the game which I have yet to even try.

Final impression? Meh. The Hidden Secrets pack is priced at $4.99 which I feel is reasonable. The DRM issues were definitely a drawback. I would only recommend this pack to the die-hard fans of this series. Casual players aren’t missing much.

Gear of War (Judgement)

Posted: August 5, 2013 in Uncategorized

Gear of war

The Gears of War games have been great so far with awesome story lines, fun multiplayer, and cool weapons. We hope that Gears of War Judgment is no exception to that. Here’s what we would like to see in Gears of War Judgment.

More gun selections –

Of course slashing people with the Lancer and stabbing people with the Retro Lancer is fun, don’t get me wrong. But after a while, this slim selection gets boring. We would like to see more variety with the guns. Maybe a Leaf Blower gun?gears of war 2 chainsaw

A compelling story to match previous Gears games-

With Marcus and Dom gone, we find ourselves wondering how the story will be. We want an action packed, heart breaking, dramatic story as seen in Gears of War 2. We’d also like to see more of Serra’s population (and maybe a few more awesome scenes of them getting killed by the locust- Those are awesome.)maria 3 article

Return on the Krill –

The Krill in Gears of War added a horrifying feeling to the game Not only did you have to avoid locusts and wretches, but you also couldn’t venture into the dark without getting shredded but the Krill. It didn’t feel the same without them in Gears 2 or 3 and we want them back!Gears of War

Return of General Raam –

General Ram is a Terrifying Badass. Enough said.RAAM after crash

Berserkers –

Berserkers are scary as hell and add difficulty to the mission if you need to navigate around them. Gears of War wouldn’t be the same without them.trailer

A simplified multiplayer experience as seen on Gear of War (The Original) –

Gears of War Had a wonderful multiplayer experience. It was very simple, easy to navigate, and had a choice between playing ranked matches and playing for fun. We would like to see the return of this simple multiplayer experience. With Gears 2 and 3, It felt as though the multiplayer was too complicated and was trying to hard. We’d also like to see better maps such as on Gears of War. Gears of War 2 and 3 had pretty sucky maps.trailer

The Sawed-Off shotgun be removed –

Anyone can be good with the Sawed-Off shotgun. It is too powerful for the game and that is all We are going to say.Sawed Off Shotgun

What would you like to see in Gears of War Judgment?
